The Thebault group invests 100 million euros in an industrial site in Lempdes-sur-Allagnon – Le Journal des Entreprises
The leading French manufacturer of plywood panels, the Thebault group (380 employees) will set up a manufacturing unit for LVL Lamibois (layers of laminated wood veneer) in Lempdes-sur-Allagnon (Haute-Loire). Covering an area of 25,000 m2, the industrial site represents an investment of 100 million euros and should create nearly 85 direct jobs and around 260 indirect ones. Operational at the end of 2025, it will produce panels made from Auvergne wood in partnership with CBD Bois located in Craponne-sur-Arzon. This project is supported by the Region to the tune of 3 million euros as part of its relocation plan. In the medium term, the Region could provide additional aid of up to 2 million euros for the training and recruitment of future employees. Based in Magné (Deux-Sèvres), the Thebault group has several production sites in France which favor made in France (80% of processed wood is local).
