The transporter Jolival takes a majority stake in ALS, a subsidiary of Hendrix Genetics – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire


Based in La Pommeraye (Mauges-sur-Loire), the Angevin family transport company Jolival (€21.2 million in 2021 turnover, 190 employees), has signed a partnership with the Dutch group Hendrix Genetics for a majority stake acquisition in ALS (€13.2 million in 2021 turnover), the transport and logistics subsidiary of the latter based in Saint-Laurent de la Plaine (Maine-et-Loire). This partnership reinforces the poultry transport activity of Jolival, with the integration of 86 employees and a fleet of 80 vehicles spread over 7 sites in the West and South-West of France. Created in 2007, ALS (Aviculture Logistique Services) essentially transports hatching eggs, chicks, adult poultry and also food.
