This level of growth is similar to that recorded in 2021 (+22%) as well as in 2020 (+22% as well). All of this income is related to the sale of subscriptions, The letter a not using advertising and not operating events or consulting activities.
Sign of an expectation for truly independent and exclusive information, the number of readers of The letter a increased by 46% in 2022, in line with the growth of 2021 (+25%) and 2020 (+39%). Subscriber organizations are companies (CAC 40 groups, lawyers, consultants, etc.), entities from the public sphere (administrations, local authorities, etc.), media (agencies, weeklies, daily newspapers, etc.), trade unions, professional federations or NGO.
With three new recruitments, the editorial staff was further strengthened in 2022 to reach 13 journalists at the end of 2022 (including 2 editorial secretaries), compared to 7 in 2019.
