Toyota Yaris crosses the milestone of 10 million cars produced in its northern plant – Le Journal des Entreprises

The Japanese automaker Toyota has just passed the milestone of 10 million Yaris produced and sold. This ten millionth Yaris was produced in the northern plant Toyota Manufacturing France (TMMF). Based in Onnaing, near Valenciennes (Nord), TMMF produced 255,584 vehicles in 2022. Since its start-up in 2001, the northern site has accumulated nearly 4.5 million units produced, making it the the group’s first production site for the Yaris. TMMF employs 5,000 people and plans to exceed the threshold of 280,000 cars sold in 2023. Since its creation, this plant has been the subject of more than 1.5 billion euros of investment.
