Xlabs wants to develop its network of medical biology laboratories – Le Journal des Entreprises – Maine-et-Loire
Based in Cholet, the XLabs medical biology laboratories (€34.7 million in 2021 turnover) are opening two new units this June in Vendée, in Olonne-sur-Mer and La-Tranche-sur-Mer. The independent interregional network founded in 1985 now has 10 sampling sites in Maine-et-Loire, Deux-Sèvres and Vendée. With 150 employees, including 12 biologists, it processes an average of 750 files each day, excluding Covid-19. Initially developed by external growth and then by the creation of new laboratories, the network wishes to strengthen its presence in the West and elsewhere in France. For this, it has just secured non-dilutive structured financing from the independent investment bank Largillière Finance, which will be used “to open new sites and enter selective external growth operations”.
